Our education services

Cancer Council provides early detection and prevention advice to encourage healthier lifestyles that will, in turn, reduce the risk of cancer. Find out more about how you can minimise your cancer risk.

We also offer education programs for women to be ‘breast aware’ such as the Community Speakers Program. Early detection results in a greater chance of successful treatment.

Cancer Council provides evidence-based, up-to-date information about all aspects of cancer to:

  • Doctors and other health professionals - to help improve prevention, detection and treatment of cancer
  • Cancer patients and the general community - more than 140,000 people across Australia contact the Cancer Council for information and advice each year, chiefly through the Cancer Council Helpline.

Help us continue our education services
