How Your Company Can Help

There a number of ways that your company can help support The Cancer Council this Pink Ribbon Day. Here are just some suggestions:
  • Cause related marketing: According to a 2001 study by Cavill & Co, a company’s association with a cause is increasingly influencing consumer’s purchasing decisions. If you are interested in finding out more about how your product can raise funds and support breast cancer, please contact us on 02 8063 4100 or email info@cancer.org.au.

  • Order a Pink Ribbon Day merchandise box from The Cancer Council: Each box includes a variety of ribbons, pins and wristbands and is available free of charge on a sale or return basis. You can display boxes throughout October in your store or office location.
  • Organise an activity at your workplace to support Pink Ribbon Day: this could be a pink lunch, pink fancy dress day where colleagues donate to participate or hold a pink pamper day with all proceeds coming to The Cancer Council.
  • Shout about it! Put information about Pink Ribbon Day on your staff intranet and encourage staff to order a merchandise box to sell items to friends and colleagues.

If you would like to discuss any of these ideas further or have some ideas of your own, please contact our Corporate Partnerships Manager on 02 8063 4100 or email info@cancer.org.au
