Pink Ribbon Day comes from the generosity of time and money from all Australians, both as individuals and organisations. Here we take time to acknowledge the generosity of our WA state supporters.

With their help we can continue to fund research, provide support services and give hope to the one in two people who are diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.

BreastScreen WA

BreastScreen WA

BreastScreen WA provides a high quality, FREE screening mammography service for women in WA aged 40 and over with no breast symptoms.  The national program BreastScreen Australia has recognised BreastScreen WA's service excellence, especially its cancer detection rates, and granted the service four year accreditation with commendation in 2008.  The service aims to save lives through early detection of breast cancer.  BreastScreen WA is proud to support Pink Ribbon Day and will have merchandise available for purchase at all clinics throughout October.  For an appointment, phone BreastScreen WA on 13 20 50 or visit www.breastscreen.health.wa.gov.au.
