About Pink Ribbon Day

Cancer Council’s Pink Ribbon Day aims to help raise awareness about breast cancer, as well as raise funds for research, early prevention and patient support programs.
This year alone around 12,700 Australian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer.
By Selling our Pink products, buying a pink gift yourself or holding a Wear Pink Day you can help Cancer Council to support women like Sinead, along with the special women in your life. Find out more about Sinead's breast cancer story.
You can help us fight breast cancer
While survival rates have increased with recent breakthroughs, one in nine women still face a diagnosis by the age of 85 and will need our help and support. Your contribution can make a difference. Show your support for breast cancer by:
- Selling Pink merchandise (or buying something for yourself)
- Holding a Wear Pink Day
- Volunteering some of your time on the day
- Donating to Pink Ribbon Day
- Holding your own type of pink fundraising event for breast cancer
