Make your Wear Pink day a big success
Your workplace could always be a bit more colourful and Pink is the perfect colour. Here are some simple tips that will help you hold a successful I (heart) pink event. And don’t forget to use your Wear Pink donation box during the event to raise funds for breast cancer.
- Workplace – Want to make everyone’s day at the office? Why not hold a Wear Pink Day ‘fashion’ show? It’s a great way to raise money. And you can take photos and have contests for best and worst dressed. Don’t forget to share them on our facebook page
- Hijack an existing event – Organise your event to coincide with an event that is already happening, such as your work or sport team meeting. Pink will definitely add some ‘colour’ to it!
- Decorate the office in Pink – Use Pink balloons, your I (heart) pink poster from your kit, Pink streamers and Pink party hats.
- School or Uni – Take a break from the books and slip into something Pink. Whether primary school, high school or university, you and your school friends can show how cool Pink can be in school.
- Pink Morning Tea – Organise a Pink bake-off in the office and test the culinary skills of your colleagues. Pink is the new black after all, so whether it’s iced, baked, diced or sliced it’s sure to grab some attention.
- Home is where the Pink is – Pink Ribbon Day is the perfect excuse for a family and friend get together. Have competitions with your friends to see who can raise the most money.
- Dollar-for-dollar matching – Ask your employer to support your fundraising efforts by matching the funds you raise.
