In the Workplace

Engage staff and support all Australians who will be diagnosed with breast cancer through raising funds for Cancer Council’s breast cancer research, prevention and support services.

Why?

  • Engage staff through Wear Pink and other fundraising events, and empower staff to reduce their cancer risk
  • Become an employer of choice providing staff the opportunity to support this relevant cause
  • Increase employee engagement through encouraging staff to give back to the community through a volunteer day

How?

  • Event - Organise a Pink Ribbon Day function and engage staff and customers with a keynote speaker, Wear Pink, run auctions, raffles and competitions.
  • Site Stalls - You can host Pink Ribbon Day stalls at your offices nationally by ordering merchandise from your local Cancer Council.  Ask staff to Wear Pink on the day too and make a donation.
  • Volunteering - Staff can sell merchandise on Pink Ribbon Day in October or assist with pre and post event admin from Jun-Sept; just contact your local Cancer Council.
  • Payroll Giving – allow staff to contribute to the cause from their pre-tax pay and set up a one-off online donation for the occasion.
